I Got My Kent Ave Stroll On

The weather was pretty pleasant here in NYC this past Saturday so I decided to stroll home from Estyn's. The trip takes about 45 minutes on foot. I had my camera with me so I decided to document some of the sights.

Most of the trip was spent on Kent Ave in Williamsburg walking from the Brooklyn Navy Yard towards Greenpoint. The road surface on Kent Ave is being reconstructed which is why you'll see the construction equipment.

Kent is about half a block from the East River so I wandered down to the water's edge in a couple spots near the Williamsburg Bridge. One of the coolest things that I discovered on the trip besides the pimpmobile is a tree growing underneath the W'burg Bridge. Who knew?
